EM Skills Move Forward Programme

I am pleased to invite Electively Home Educated teenagers to Free, Fully Funded courses starting in September 2019 at various locations.

There are limited places available on each course, so please complete the form below to apply or express your interest in a place and I will contact you to offer an induction and enrolment interview which will be held in August 2019. Parents must attend interviews with their child. All resources are provided including laptops. Your child will be taught by qualified teachers. Courses are relaxed, supportive and accesible to all Home Educated families. It is a lovely environment especially for teens who are anxious or teens who are struggling to get to GCSE levels. Work experience may be included too which has proved to be a great help especially for a confidence boost.

Pets Corner Harlow : Animal Care
Harlow or Chelmsford : Construction – Building or Carpentry
Harlow : Mechanics
Colchester :  Information Technology and Spanish
Letchworth :  Information Technology
Supporting Home Educated 14 to 19 year olds

Do you have a 14 to 19 year old who is interested in any of the above and would like to get vocational qualifications alongside Maths and English Functional Skills.

These programmes have been designed for 14-19 year olds who want the opportunity to gain useful Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths as well as another area of interest. Young people will be encouraged to develop useful skills in a supportive and friendly environment and achieve worthwhile qualifications!

All programmes include Maths, English and Employability skills. Courses are usually 25 weeks of either 2 or 3 days each week.

Teens must not be already registered at school or college or on an apprenticeship.

Previous students are welcome to return if they wish to take the exams for the next level (dependant on funding).
