AWE Club – English KS3 Information

These lessons are for children aged 12 to 16 are targeted at KS3 level ability. Students can attend both days as the content will be different.

Course Details

English Literature – Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ , J.B. Priestley’s ‘An Inspector Calls’ and ‘To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

English Language – Different tenses, Active and passive voice, Adjectives, Nouns, Ellipsis, Verbs, Vowels and Consonants, Vowel Digraphs, Consonant Digraphs, Formal and Informal Writing, Antonyms. Synonyms, Prepositions, Homophones, Article, Conjunctions, Auxiliary/ Modal verbs, Determiners, Clauses, Phrases, Compound and complex sentences, Sentence Fragments, Simple Sentences, and Word Classes.
